Kilkee is a resort town set along a fine beach in Moore Bay. At the entrance of this bay is a reef known as the Duggerna Rocks. Kilkee is still a popular resort in the summer and as such contains many excellent accomodation facilities as well as pubs and restaurants. Nearby there are the remains of a once popular spa near to the town of Kilkee, at Foonagh.
