Along with Killarney, Blarney is probably the best known
and most visited place in Ireland. The obvious attraction in Blarney is it's
castle and the stone. The stone is believed to be half of the Stone of Scone
which originally belonged to Scotland. Scottish Kings were crowned over the
stone, because it was believed to have special powers. Legend has it that
by kissing the stone you can acquire the gift of eloquence.
